Hair loss help?

in my family the gents have a hair loss problem. my dad, and my two uncles all have bald spots in the center of their head where the top and back of their heads meet. however some gents in my family did not experience this. my parents tell me that i am getting a bald spot at the same place as my dad and uncles. i am only 15yrs old and do not want to have a bald spot, not now and not when i am like 42 either. so is there any way other than like laser surgery or hair growth formulas for me to grow my hair back. and i also lose a lot of hair when i brush my hair. my hair is not long or short it is average size. so help me pleaseHair loss help?
My immediate male relatives, father and two younger brothers suffered severe hair loss. I know this treatment saved me from same fate. It's NATURAL, safe, and truly stops loss almost straight away and has helped others on ANSWERS.(can send you info.) It also forces new growth. Massage thoroughly with olive or any natural oil - then brush vigorously using a palm held brush with short natural boar bristles - soft bristled for fine straight hair and stiff bristled for thicker non straight hair- so you really feel it stimulating scalp - 90 /100 strokes at beginning building up to more - each day, focusing on where loss is. Will heal scalp and unplug blocked hair ducts that sometimes cause loss - they are the painful small itching spots. A little shedding and breakage may occur at first but quickly stops as brushing makes hair stronger and better anchored. It will grow fast, thicker and It will force the new growth. Initially new hairs will be weak looking and sparse. Don't be concerned if brushing uproots them as they will re-appear even stronger. My hair has completely regrown on crown. Where receded at front regrowth was slower and sparse at first then each month it became denser. It demands perseverance week in, week out to get the same results.

Thinning and loss can be caused by many shampoos - particularly anti dandruff ones - and hair products that contain countless hair, scalp and even health harming harsh and toxic ingredients. Washing hair too frequently is another cause - removes beneficial natural oils and contributes to loss. Find ';Non harmful shampoos, etc'; with Google searches. Some will come up and be expensive or only available on-line so refine search by adding ';low cost'; and ';available in stores'; Find in GNC ,Trader Joes, Some Walmart Stores, Cost Plus, Wegmans, Earth Fare, natural %26amp; health foods stores.

I Have had feed back from someone who has had even more success using treatment. His has substantially regrown in just 6 months.

Wish you the best.

help? :'(Hair loss. HELP!?
There are many reasons that your hair could be thinning. It could well be a hormonal reason.

Women have certain levels of testosterone in their bodies, and sometimes hormonal shifts can create changes in hair, namely the thinning of hair or hair growth elsewhere on the body.

However, it very well could be stress-related or even vitamin overload.

Here are few common causes of hair-loss or hair growth in women:

%26gt; Physical or Emotional Stress or Illness: surgery, illness, anemia, rapid weight change, mental illness, death of a family member.

High fevers, severe infections or chronic illnesses can result in hair loss.

You may begin losing hair one to three months after a stressful situation, such as major surgery.

Try to establish a healthy routine to reduce any stress.

%26gt; Thyroid abnormalities or an underactive thyroid.

%26gt; Hormonal causes: pregnancy, birth control pills, menopause.

%26gt; Medication - Drugs used to treat cancer, blood thinners, antidepressants and high blood pressure medications, as well as birth control pills and high doses of vitamin A, Blood pressure or Gout medications may cause hair loss.

%26gt; Diet - Too little protein and too little iron in your diet can lead to hair loss.

If you are a vegetarian, then that, too, can affect hair loss since a lack of iron can contribute to the problem.

You might want to consider getting checkup and get your iron levels check.

I hope this helps!

Good Luck! =)Hair loss. HELP!?

WOW! That's a very informative answer! Very good!

I would call your doctor and ask them. One reason your hair might fall out though is if you aren't being healthy with your eating. If you are anorexic or bulimic that would cause hair loss. So just keep that in mind if that is the case.
Stress maybe?

Do you have exams ?

Dunno really ... hope its okay!!

    Hairloss help???? ?

I just used my friend's shampoo and it made me loss like half of my hair?

I used it a couple of weeks ago and I was hoping that it wasn't permanent. But damn the hair hasn't come back yet.

When I used the hairgel (shampoo) my hair kept falling out. I haven't experienced anything like it and i know that it was the shampoo.

The brand was called Matrix something.

What can I do to make the hair come back? Is there any damage? If so is it permanent.Hair loss help ?
Any time you have sudden hair loss, you should see a dermatologist.

They can run tests to see if there is an underlying medical condition contributing to your hair loss or if it might be due to an environmental or topical factor.

In the meantime, be gentle with your hair -- don't pull it back into tight ponytails, don't use harsh heat like straighteners or blowdryers to style it, as both of those things can make it more fragile.

Get in to the dermatologist as soon as you can.Hair loss help ?
I would say not to use chemicals on your hair. Why don't you go for some home remedies. Egg whites, lemon juice, oil massages, reducing stress and diet changes can reduce hair fall and make it healthier. You can find more cheap, effective and natural home remedies for hair loss as well as for healthy hair at http://www.wellnesstalk.org/hairfall.htm鈥?/a>

STOP dying your hair. That's first, next massage your scalp don't just brush your hair, yes trim off the dead and split ends it only causes more damage to leave them. You can try a coconut milk rinse,or its old fashioned buy mayonnaise and leave on for 15 minutes can sometimes repair damage from dying your hair. You may not think you are getting damage but you are and your head is telling you so.Also stress will make your hair fall out in gobs so try and find your stress you may be surprised,Good luck. Also some hair products DO CAUSE hair loss.Hair Loss Help?

    Hair loss.. HELP!?

    hello ppl

My partner is in his mid 20s n he's jus losing hair.. his hairs thinning a lot and im scared he'll be going bald soon!!

he says its a genetic thing but its not really.. He's been using these natural figaro medications n shampoos n stuff that are supposed to be helping hair growth but i dont see a difference..

My hair is also thinning at the front.. but its not as serious as his.. but still id like a fuller head of hair!! and so is my mum by the way.. she's got so much less hair than she did when she was younger.. just wondering if anybody knows of any natural remedy or things we can do @ home to make all this hair grow back!

plz only suggest if ur sure.. we dont wanna go balder than we already are.. hahaha

    ThanksHair loss.. HELP!?
One of principal causes of loss is shampoos containing harsh harmful ingredients and medicated shampoos only make the problem worse. They are also the cause of dandruff, premature graying, inhibited growth and many more problems. Washing hair too frequently removes beneficial natural oils and harms scalp also is a cause of loss. We are seeing a hair loss epidemic in both males and females and it麓s occurring at ever younger ages - as young as 14 and 15. I found this NATURAL, safe and low cost treatment that gives remarkable results - it stops the loss almost straight away. Scalp needs stimulation to clear blocked hair ducts, remove dead follicles so it can start producing strong, well anchored, thicker hair. Massage with natural oils, olive oil is excellent, and then brush vigorously (best with a short bristled palm held brush) so you feel it stimulating scalp (35 /45 strokes or more) preferably each day. A little shedding and some breakage occurs but only to begin with - quickly stops as hair gets anchored and stronger. Hair will grow faster, become thicker and It will also force new growth overtime (expect to see in about 2 months) My bald patch on the crown has completely regrown. Where it had receded at temples new growth was a slower process but I found, week by week, the hair line inched forward. (Initially the hairs are sparse then overtime become denser). Do at night and sleep with it that way and wash off in the morning (because of treatment - washing daily will not be detrimental). Keep up treatment and DON麓T BE AFRAID OF LOSING NEW GROWING HAIRS - THEY WILL RE-APPEAR EVEN STRONGER. Maintain a regular brushing and oiling routine and you will see even better results. Using this treatment you have to have patience and persevere day in day out but it truly works. .Also do a web search ';Shampoos harmful?'; MANY contain sodium laurel sulphate, sodium laureth sulphate and propylene glycol, all of which are harmful. First two are dangerous and both damage hair follicles and cause hair loss. They also harm eyes.- the eye stinging you get is telling you that. Fetuses subjected to these substances do not develop functioning eyes, and both can cause cataracts in adults. Propylene glycol another frequent ingredient and is a known skin irritant and is thought to cause mouth ulcers. It also damages the kidneys and liver. Do a web search for safe, non harming products for hair and skin. Balding tends to be genetic. My father, two younger brothers and some of their offspring all had severe hair loss problems, some became totally bald. I truly believe this treatment has saved me from the same fate.

    Don't panic.

I'd try a few vitamins such as Vitamin A and Biotin.

It's cheap, chemical free and by the way, people say that Propecia is based on Vitamin A.

My sister using Avelon, seems like quite effective for her...

Your partner being male and having it genetically has MPB (Male Pattern Baldness). Natural Figaro medication and shampoo are SCAMS. It doesn't work.

I would recommend he visit a doctor to check if he can take Propecia as it is the only thing that can stop hairloss. He can also use Minoxidil 5% to boost hair growth and use Nizoral 2% once or twice a week to stimulate the scalp.

Note that NOTHING else works only these three. But the most important one is the Propecia. (Durateride is still under testing). And he needs to take this as soon as possible as dead hair follicles DO NOT regrow hair.

Note that these meds are ONLY for men. Do not take them yourself. And note that there are some side effects and side effects do vary. For me, a lower sex drive is the only side effect i got and hair growth.

For you, it could be a vitamin deficiency. Check with your doc to make sure as for women, it is not common to lose hair since there is not enough testosterone to cause DHT (hair loss).
My best friend and my brother are suffering hair loss problems, the best way they solve their problems is to visit specialist, it's cost a fortune, but it's works. Make an appointment for consultation.
Drink 10-12 glasses of water daily and have a high protein diet with plenty of fruits, vegetables and dairy products. Since iron-deficiency anemia can also cause hair loss, make sure that you eat a well-balanced diet that includes a daily serving or two of iron-rich foods. Check out

Hair loss is caused by many reasons such as malnutrition, illness, tension and other health problems. It is normal to shed some hair each day as part of a cycle of growing new hairs and loosing some. Badly damaged hair breaks at the scalp. Check out http://usefulinfo-hairloss.blogspot.com/ for more info. More simple remedies for dandruff at http://usefulinfo-dandruff.blogspot.com/Hair loss help!!!!?
it could be scalp eczema, ringworm or psoriasis instead of dandruff.. go see a doctor (preferably a dermatologist) and get them to have a look at ur scalp. the eczema or ringworm can be removed by topical creams or pills and hair should grow back, but the infections could come back after a while. i'm not sure about psoriasis..

    Hair loss HELP!?

how to beat hair less?????! mine is fallin out major!Hair loss HELP!?
it happened to me last year..but now, thank God my hair beautiful. I used to get a lot of hairs on my brush before, but now i never.

    what i did was,

    1) stopped the use of shampoo and conditioner, it may seem stupid, but instead used only Johnsons baby shampoo. As it is specially formulated for babie's hair, which is delicate, and therefore has weak chemicals in it.

    2) Drink more milk, have more eggs, and nuts.

    3) Buy some hair oil (can be almond oil, baby oil, coconut oil) personally i used johnsons baby oil. Always apply the oil to your hair and scalp 40 minutes before you wash it. Start off doing this about 3-4 times a week.

    4) when you wash your hair, dont dry it with the towel or comb it. leave it to dry naturally, as when the hair is wet, the roots become weak and can get damged easily.

    5) try to avoid the use of hair products, including hair dryers, straighteners, mousse etc

    6) only use another shampoo if you really want your hair to smell good when you go out.

trust me, i used all the above for 6 weeks, but i started to see results within a week. my friend also had the same problem, and i told her the same, and her hair has recovered aswell.

It takes time, and effort, but is worth it.

My ahir started falling out when i come back from my holiday. I predicted, it was the water that caused damage to my hair.

Anyhow, good luck, hope i helped. Make sure you tell me the results if you stick to my plan xX XxHair loss HELP!?
there is a good thing called minoxidil 5% me %26amp; my bf we used it but truly i saw his baby hair in his forehead %26amp; it worked

there is also primaria dermotonic treatment %26amp; im still using it so see try the minoxidil 5% guarantied its also got Regina name for the minoxidil
Stress is the major factor. I had the same problem and a wise doctor told me that nothing will work until I will eliminate the factor of stress. I argued I was not stressed and he answered that I should look deeper.

Indeed, I've changed my job and ...';voila';! Big mane of long healthy hair.

    Good luck!
Try kelp tablets. If it is medical problem it won't help, you need the doctor for that, but it does make hair thicker.

    Hair loss....... Help?

I used a chemical hair straightener like a month ago and started suffering sever hair loss since ...HELP! :-(Hair loss....... Help?
oh no! well best i can say is go to salon to get some advice, in the mean time don't wash your hair too often say every other day maybe even every other two days, and don't brush. comb. or at least use a wide toothed brushHair loss....... Help?
The best advice I can give you is to go to a beautician and ask them how to prevent losing anymore hair than you already have. Who ever put the product in your hair probably left it in too long and now you hair is over processed. I don't want to scare you, but you MAY ( and that is a BIG may) have yo cut all of your hair off and start over. But don't freak out yet, like I said talk to a beautician first, and see what they tell you. If you want you can go around and ask a few beauticians just so can have a second opinion. I hope all works out for you!
That is a common hair loss reason. Hair Straightening can break your hair and cause temporary hair loss. Good news it is temporary, and will grow back during your next hair cycles.
This is totally normal, for everyone I know who gets their hair chemically straightened. Avoid washing your hair everyday, and using styling products, hair straightners, curling irons...that will cause more hair to fall out if done excessively. Give your hair some time to rest, and dont play with it, or brush it aggressively. It might take a couple of months for it to fully grow back. Hair grows.

ive been noticing that my hair has been falling out in the shower and when i brush my hair not alot but enough to start bugging me lots of my friends have the same problem and i dont get why my hair keeps falling out ; i wear my hair up in a bun alot to keep it off me because of the weather and condition it .. any advice?Hair loss help?
Don't brush it so much. Brushing is a lot of manipulation to your hair and actually pulls it out. Wearing it up is good to protect it from the weather, but don't pull it tightly. That could damage it as well. Be very gentle with your hair.Hair loss help?

    Hair Loss? Help!!?

I have always had long and very thick hair, I have also been having it highlighted for about 10 years. Recently though i decided to go dark and I have dyed my hair twice. Since then I have been losing a lot more then normal in the shower and such. It has gotten so thin that when I wear it down, that you can see a large portion of my scalp when it parts in the back. I am starting to freak out about losing my hair. I havent dyed it in over two months now and I am growing it back out to natural color but i still seem to be losing the hair! What is happening and what can i do?!Hair Loss? Help!!?
The best thing you can do is wait. Hair takes a while to grow and if you damaged the scalp at all, it will take longer. What you can do to help cut down on the hair loss in the meantime is to be gentler to your hair by only brushing it when you need to. Be gentle and start by brushing out the tips, eventually working your way up. If putting it up helps hide the thinness, then be careful when you do so, as hair can easily get caught up in the ponytail holder and ripped out.

Beyond that, other things that can help cut down on hair loss: eat well, don't smoke, and eat enough iron and the B vitamin biotin in your diet. The nutrients that you put in your body go into your blood stream, which supplies the hair follicles with blood and helps them grow. By having toxin-free nutrient-rich blood, it will help the hair grow and help prevent excess hair loss.

Hi, i need help with my hair loss. im only 20 years old.. but im losing alot of hairs and i can see some bald spots.. also my hair is really thin.. is there any treatment to stop lossin hair and make my hair thicker? help me plz~Hair Loss Help!?
There are severeal forms of baldenss. If it is male pattern baldness (Androgenetic alopecia) then the hairloss cannot be fully cured in mostcases, but just frozen for some time with the treatments availiable on market today.

    1) Hair transplant (FUE technology) creates really natural hairline, no scars, the best way to go if you have enough donor hair and money of course.

    2. Propecia (Finasteride) and Minoxidil are the only ones approved by FDA and proven to work in most men so far.

    http://www.propecia.com

    http://www.rogaine.com

But before you consider to start propecia you must really study about the side effects. It can mess your hormones real bad if you are not

lucky, so you must choose, hair or these side effects. Quite a big perecent have these side effects, more than Merck - the company that holds

Propecia trademark is saying. see www.propeciahelp.com

Generic Propecia (finasteride) is also ok. I use it with same results, and unfortunately same sides(a bit dry feeling in the scalp) as brand propecia. Have tried lots of herbal c..p before it and laser combs, so far the only thing that prevents my hairloss, not much regrowth, but has stopped my hairloss completely.

I buy from this pharmacy for the last 2 years - http://www.1rx.biz/generic_propecia.html . It is under $1 per pill as I buy the 90 pills. (89$ for 90)Hair Loss Help!?
hmm, try shaving your head bald, nobody will notice and your hair will grow back thicker and quicker.
Try the natural techniques and remedies from http://www.regrowmyhair.info instead of harsh chemicals to stop hair loss and regrow lost hair.
This is unusual at your age. Check with your doc and see why you are losing your hair. Was you father thinning at your age too? Or his father or father's father. there are some treatments for it.

One time there wasn't anything you could do for it except buy a rug.

If you have no other symptoms like rashes

fevers and stuff like that, it may be just hereditary. But see the doc and see what can be done.

Good luck. Have a great weekend
There are several possible causes of hair loss. I may be because of hormonal , improper diet, undergoing different kinds of hair treatments like coloring and straightening, and stress. Your hair loss may have started with a few extra hairs in the sink or in your comb. But now you can't look in the mirror without seeing more of your scalp.

Baldness typically refers to excessive hair loss from your scalp and can be the result of heredity, certain medications or an underlying medical condition. Anyone 鈥?men, women and children 鈥?can experience hair loss.

Some people prefer to let their baldness run its course untreated and unhidden. Others may cover it up with hairstyles, makeup, hats or scarves. And still others choose one of the medications and surgical procedures that are available to treat baldness. Before pursuing any of these treatment options, talk with your doctor about the cause of and best possible treatments for your hair loss.

    Good luck
Don't use pillows stuffed in artificial rubberised materials.Use only cotton pillows.Coz the pillows with artificial materials are too heaty which has direct effect in falling of hair.Better use mild shampoo rather than any soap.Don't let the hair dried and used pure King coconut oil and give 5 minutes of massage everyday on the scul with your finger tips .
sounds like you have alopecia, you might try rogaine, they make different ones for women and men so get the right one. or go to a doctor.

terrible hair loss! it falls everywhere! HELP! I already have short hairHair loss help!?
One of principal causes of loss is shampoos containing harsh harmful ingredients and medicated shampoos only make the problem worse. They are also the cause of dandruff, premature graying, inhibited growth and many more problems. Washing hair too frequently removes beneficial natural oils and harms scalp also is a cause of loss. We are seeing a hair loss epidemic in both males and females and it麓s occurring at ever younger ages - as young as 14 and 15. I found this NATURAL, safe, permanent and low cost treatment that gives remarkable results - it stops the loss almost straight away. Where it had receded at temples new growth was a slower process but I found, week by week , the hair line inched forward. Using this treatment you have to have patience and persevere day in day out but it truly works . Also do a web search ';Shampoos harmful?'; MANY contain sodium laurel sulphate, sodium laureth sulphate and propylene glycol, all of which are harmful. First two are dangerous and both damage hair follicles and cause hair loss. They also harm eyes.- the eye stinging you get is telling you that. Fetuses subjected to these substances do not develop functioning eyes, and both can cause cataracts in adults. Propylene glycol - antifreeze - is a known skin irritant and is thought to cause mouth ulcers. It also damages the kidneys and liver. Do a web search for safe, non harming products for hair and skin. Balding tends to be genetic. My father, two younger brothers and some of their offspring all had severe hair loss problems. I truly believe this treatment has saved me from the same fate.

Don't panic, there's a good solution. The name of the miracle is ';phinasterida';. I have 4 friends that are using it for more than 5 years, and the results are great. It stop the falling and new hair grows. I'll begin taking it next week. They take it in cycles of 3 month, everyday, and then stop for one month. The only problem is you have to take it forever. It's not expensive, and no side effects.Try it I can assure you that is really works. This medicine was developed for prostate treatment and users realize growing hair. For hair loss treatment there is a special product, much more weaker than the other one.

    Thank you and good luck.
Hair loss can be due to stress or diet or even a medication that you are taking, I would go to my doctor and I'm sure that they can give you something to help.

Good luck, I'm sure you'll be fine!
medications???? any thyroid problems?? are you loosing it in clumps-if you are see a doctor immediately. on the bright side-its better you do have short hair.
Massage aloe Vera gel over the scalp, leave it for about one hour. After this rinse the hair with warm water. It gives excellent results for hair loss if one uses this massage at least 3-4 times a week. Check out

when i say hair loss, I DONT MEAN THAT MY HAIR FALLS OUT IN CLUMPS, i mean that when i brush my hair, some hairs fall out, or if i run my fingers through my hair, a couple of hairs fall our and if i wash my hair i loose around 50 hairs. is this normal? and can i prevent this?

(i straighten my hair but i always use heat protection spray)Hair loss help!?
if you use too many chemicals on your hair, you will definitely lose hair. (im not sayin u are. lol :) anyways, by what is happening to you, it sounds pretty normal. we have a lot of hair coming out everyday, and it grows back, so its not like you will ';run out of hair'; in the future. i hope this helps you [;Hair loss help!?

Normally, a person looses about 100 or more strands of hair a day. But, if its bothering you alot, the market has hair products that help mend breaking and thinning hair, also volumizing products can help too. On the bottle it will specify what it mainly helps.

Some causes of this: not washing your hair everyday, stress, not enough nutrition, and Im sure theres more but that all I've learned about.

But the same thing happens to me, like when I wash my hair and I'll were it up in a bun and I wont even get it wet for a day then I'll wash it again, ALOT of hair comes out and I asked my mom about it and she said it was normal, plus I researched it.

So, I hope this makes you feel better!
thanks for the answer! and by the way i think thats normal im pretty sure i heard people lose around 100 strands a day. i think its more then that but i cant remember. and also prenatal pills help hair growth. I'm taking them because i'm lackin some nutrients but for those who arent lol they work way good i guess.
don't worry about it. it is normal. we all lose about 80 hairs a day, dont worry thought new ones are always growing in. i dont think you can prevent it though.
I'm in EXACTLY the same position. I hate picking loose hairs off my shoulders after my shower, it's so nasty!

Anyway, the same thing happened to both my older sisters and a couple of our friends when they were my age (18). My sister asked our haircutting lady and she said it's normal for this to happen to teens.. just another benefit of our lovely hormones :)

Both my sisters grew out of it so I hope I do too! Ha...

im having a hair loss issue... will taking biotin supplementation help me gain my hair back? will it cause hair to grow all over my body or just my head?Hair loss help?
Biotin (vitamin B7) a cofactor in mitochondrial energy transport (i.e. the citric acid/Krebs cycle) has long been purported to offer benefit in treating hair loss. And while biotin may be useful when incorporated into a treatment system, it has proven less than successful when used as a monotherapy against pattern hair loss.

Pointedly, a meaningful percentage of women experiencing hair loss are susceptible to the same androgenic cascade as men. This means that the same treatment choices that are useful in the setting of male hair loss can potentially offer utility for women.

However, this is where the picture becomes slightly more complex. Certain drugs and substances that block the androgenic hormonal pathways and thus blunt the associated hair loss can also precipitate feminizing side effects such as for example gynecomastia (breast enlargement). For obvious reasons, this would be an unacceptable endpoint for most men.

This also explains why some anti-androgenic drugs such as flutamide, spironolactone and others may be reasonable treatment choices for a woman whereas they would be contraindicated in a man.

For any person suffering hair loss, an important first step is to arrive at a definitive diagnosis. Ideally, this is a step which should be undertaken prior to initiating treatment of any kind.

Ultimately, whatever treatments are considered should also be supported with reasonable clinical and basic science data. While a number of treatment options against pattern hair loss do exist, biotin, as a monotherapy against pattern hair loss, does not meet the proven-efficacy challenge.

Could This Be Causing My hair Loss? Help!!!!!!?

im a male and im 20 btw, well i recently went overseas to a 3rd world country, didnt take care of my hair and it got dirty and stuff.

well ive been back for 3 weeks, and ive been losing hair like crazy . well yesterday i went to the dr's and i found out that i have lyce and i have a dirty scalp.

so i got lyce shampoo, and dandruff shampoo and i got anti biotics for my cuts on my scalp.

could this be causing my hair to fall off?

should it grow back?Could This Be Causing My hair Loss? Help!!!!!!?
year ago I suffered from hair loss too and I started trying everything you can imagine to stop my hair loss.

the things that really worked for me was:

    1) Vitamin A - an anti-oxidant which promotes healthy production of sebum in the scalp;

    2) Vitamin E stimulates circulation. Good blood circulation in the scalp is important in keeping hair follicles productive. The 'B' vitamins contribute to melanin, which gives hair its healthy color and also stimulates blood circulation;

    3) massage is also beneficial. Massage stimulates circulation. As already noted, good circulation in the scalp keeps hair follicles active. Experts suggest a few minutes of daily head massage by hand. Circulation through massage may be improved by using a few drops of lavender or bay essential oil in an almond or sesame oil base with massage;

    4) Try rubbing your scalp with garlic juice, Onion Juice or Ginger Juice(you can either of one out of three, Do not mix any of two or three);

    5) also I used herbal treatment - TrichoZed

It is a good product that helps prevent hair loss and it is an FDA approved product. I think it is very important!

It worked and still works for me!

I do not know if any pharmacies carry TrichoZed but I do know that you should purchase it directly from the manufacturer and read more about the product here http://www.trichozed.info/why.php

It enhances hair growth by blocking DHT (Dihydrotestostrone) - a major cause of hair loss!

    good luck!

It could be that, it could also be genetic. When I start to bald more like my Dad and Grandpa I will just nair my head like they did in Jackass 2.5 to one of the producers. That way I won't have to be depressed worrying about my hair all of the time. I don't want to end up like one of those old fools with a combover.

rogaine works, but once you start you have to use for the rest of your life, or go bald gracefully. hats do not cause baldness. hats causing baldness is an old wives tail, not a shread of truth.Hair loss help!!!?
Try Hair loss remedies at http://www.hairthinning.org/
Maybe rogaine, but usually there is an underlying condition that causes hair loss. Stress or other things could be a factor. I think he should see a doctor to rule out things first.

oh boy, thats an old and unresolved mystery. usually has to do with stress and hereditary traits are the most proven. try not to worry and that can help you a lot a lot. And don;t fall for products that may drain your wallets the best treatment is surgical were they remove part of your hair an put it up but its costly an many are not satisfied. YOu still have along way too loose it all on top it takes time believe me just don;t worry and no stress.

    Hair loss? help! please?

I dyed my hair like two and half years ago. As soon as I rinse out the dye my hair started falling out in clumps. It was falling out alot for a few months. I started developing a small bald spot that grew about the size of a quarter. It has been that same size for like two years now. Its only grown like tiny hairs. I went to see a tricologist who told me my diet was really poor and I needed to start eating healthy. But I think theres more to it than this. My hair stopped falling out that much but I just have that spot and thin hair temples. Will my hair ever go back to normal? What can I do? please help!Hair loss? help! please?
What hair dye product did you use?

Perhaps your female hair balding was suppose to happen naturally later on, but your hair dye prematurely triggered it. Many females experience hair loss (or even balding, in your case) its just they cover it up better than men, and its quite rare. Its unfortunate that it's happened to you.

If it really was your dye that caused this, there should have been some serious burning, redness, etc - it would have been obvious. If its been over 2 years then its incredibly unlikely that your hair will grow back.

There are numerous things you could try out:

    * Nourkrin, or hair growth supplements that are proven

    * Propecia (fda approved), but I'm pretty sure its not for young women, or women planning to have children

*Hairmax comb (ehhh it works for me, but doesn't for everyone)

*Silica, MSM and Vit C supplements (what Nourkrin has)

    *Hair transplant

*Hair Weave (ehh I wouldn't do it but many black women do it)

Even if the process is slow, does not matter, I just want sumthin that stops my hair even gradually! Please help me.. I am really Depressed.. btw Im just 18! Thnku!Hair Loss! HELP! PLEASE!!?
There are several treatment options that may help to stimulate and encourage hair growth. If hair loss occurs as a result of an underlying condition or disease, then the condition needs to be treated first. The various types of hair loss are treated with specific medication which includes antibiotics, corticosteroids, or steroid injections. For more serious episodes of hair loss, surgical procedures such as hair transplants, scalp reduction or skin grafts may be performed to replace hair loss.

Natural and holistic therapy offers a gentler alternative for people experiencing hair loss than the harsh effects of conventional medication. Treatments such as herbal and homeopathic remedies stimulate and encourage hair growth as well as support blood circulation, hormonal balance and thyroid functioning.

Herbal remedies along with good nutritional diet (supplements in case of severe deficiency or if directed by your doctor) help hair grow stronger and more plentifully by nourishing it at the roots. They achieve this by stimulating blood flow and supplying nutrients to the hair follicles and hence promoting healthy hair growth and slowing down excessive hair loss. Although the process begins within a few days, as the hair grow slowly, the results are visible only after a few months.

Herbs commonly used include Ginkgo biloba, Rosmarinus officinale and Xanthoxylum clavaherculis help to promote strong, abundant hair. Other powerful herbs such as Equisetum arvense, Avena sativa and Echinacea are effective combating hair loss and nourishing hair follicles.

You may get detailed information on these remedies and recommended diet over here http://www.healthherbsandnutrition.com/r鈥?/a>Hair Loss! HELP! PLEASE!!?
I'm assuming that you're a guy. I'm balding too and I'm 23, starting when I'm 20. I know how it feels, its stressful. Most doctors doesnt care because I went to my doctor too, he has full head of hair and he doesnt care. I have lots of hair falling of my head too, everytime I'm washing my hair its like a nightmare. I only tried rogaine and some natural shampoos, so far its slowing the process but I'm still getting there. You can try propecia I heard that it works for many people. I didnt try it yet because a drug is still a drug, I dont wanna be messed up in the inside.

The only reason that you're stressed is because you think that without your hair, girls are not going to find you attractive. But have you considering shaving you head? I know it sounds scary, I was scared too. But I was so obessed with my hair and its too depressing so one day I just decided to shave it all off. It turns out that my girlfriend likes it, and she always rub my head now. Today, I'm not as stressed as I am before about my receding hairline. I still use rogaine and everything, I'm still trying to get my hair back. But to know that without the hair you're still important is always a relieve. Good luck~
Two egg white mixed with two tablespoon of yogurt can be applied for 30 minutes and then washed, when done at least once a week controls hair loss . Check out http://usefulinfo-hairfall.blogspot.com/ for more info.

    Hair Loss! Help!!?

I had anorexia and so my hairline receded. I've been eating healthy for about 4 months but there are still only a few tiny hairs. How can I make my hair grow back? Faster? Should I buy hair growth products or take supplements? Will I ever have my full head of hair again?? :( I'm only 14-had anorexia for 1.5 yrs. Should I stop straightening and blow-drying my hair?Hair Loss! Help!!?
A safe suppliment is a high does of Biotin. I take 5,000 mcg. It's supposed to kick start hair growth and make it grow faster. It works for some people but not all. It's not that expensive and you can find it in almsot every store that has a vitamin section. Blow drying kills the hair so I wouldn't do that anymore, not until your hair is back to normal anyway.

Also, with things such as excessive weight loss and anorexia, hair usually will grow back FROM WHAT I HEAR. It just takes time! I hope this helped and good luck!Hair Loss! Help!!?
you should immediately stop straightening your hair cuz heat weakens the hair roots, you can also try rubbing almond oil or nettle they work for some people, another thing you can do is stop using chemical shampoos and go with the natural ones, i hope you get over this problem, im sure there is a solution, keep on searching
ugh, im going through the same problem right now. Im just eating healthy. I continue to straighten my hair. I try to eat fruit for breakfast, and i take a vitamin, and then i usually have cereal for lunch, and whatever for dinner. Its hard though, because during breakfast and lunch.. i dont want to eat.
straightning your hair isnt a problem if it is once a week.

BUT BLOW DRYING IS DANGEROUS IF IT IS DONE TOO OFTEN! IT IS PROBABLY THE CAUSE OF YOUR HAIR LOSS SO STOP USING IT NOW!

blow drying should be done once a month, i own a salon i should know!

i hope this helped, TAKE CARE!

    Postpartum hair loss help please!?

I had my second baby 4 months ago. and about 7 weeks ago I went to the salon and got a relaxer for the first time and I really like having my hair straight. the problem now is that my hair started to fall out really bad about 2 or 3 three weeks ago and I need and want to go get my hair done again because it's starting to get curly again. I feel like my hair is starting to looks very thing especially on the front left side of my head(where I part my hair) and I worry that I will eventually look bald right there. my husband said he hasn't noticed but I think it is starting to look bad. SO my question is if you guys think it would be a good or bad Idea to go and get my hair straighten again. and why?

oh and will my hair grow back? and when? ugh!Postpartum hair loss help please!?
It is normal for you to loose a lot of hair after a baby. I would wait about a month, and see if it stops falling out before you get your hair done again. You should check with your doctor too, because hair loss can be caused by other things as well. It is probably from the baby but you could also be anemic or have a thyroid problem. Either way, wait until your hormones are back on track before doing anything else.Postpartum hair loss help please!?
your hair follicles may just be experiencing something new, in that case, your hair be get used to that procedure and wont bald in the future...

A natural treatment against hair loss? Help!?

January was extremely hectic for me as I have a looot of exams and as a consequence I'm loosing a lot of hair! please help! any pharma product, natural recipe...anything that helps! ThanksA natural treatment against hair loss? Help!?
    Hello there,

    I found this for ya

    1. Herbs

For centuries, herbs are used as natural remedies against all kinds of illnesses. There are actually five herbs that are recommended Treatments for Hair Loss. These herbs work for both men and women. The first popular herb in preventing further hair loss is the Saw Palmetto. It aids in blocking the DHT hormone that increases the rate of hair loss. It may be in capsule form or in liquid (oil) form. Another one herb against balding is Rosemary and usually comes in oil form. Few drops of Rosemary oil should be massaged unto the scalp to promote hair growth and unclog the follicles. Another herb for treating bald areas of the scalp is the Horsetail which is high in Silica and strengthens the hair to prevent more locks to fall out. The remaining two herbs for hair loss are Nettle and Siberian ginseng. Both herbs are usually added to other common herbal capsules made for treating hair loss.

    2. Essential Oils

If you have time to massage your scalp every night before snoozing, then essential oils may also help in improving hair growth. Oils such as thyme, lavender, and cedarwood combined with jojoba or grapeseed. Studies show that most people using these oils showed an improvement on their scalp and tresses especially when done daily.

    3. Placebo or Onion Juice

Placebo or onion juice is also an effective natural alternative for treating hair loss. According to the article published in Journal of Dermatology, after two weeks of using onion juice, there had been evidences of hair regrowth compared to those who did not used the placebo.

    4. Healthy Diet

Above all, one must consider eating a healthy diet to nourish the scalp and the whole body. Vegetables and fruits can do wonders not only for hair loss but to prevent skin dullness as well. Include foods rich in silica, calcium and iron such as raw oats, cherry juice, dried fruits and green leafy vegetables together with eggs, raisins and dates. Along with healthy diet, take supplements such as fish oil, Vitamin C, B complex and Lysine to help you if you are suffering from mild hair loss.

Instead of spending a lot of money for expensive procedures or over-the-counter products that comes with a lot of side effects, it is best if you look for natural alternatives first. Aside from being from being cost effective, it is safe and reliable as well.A natural treatment against hair loss? Help!?
I believe the best natural treatment for hair loss is aromatherapy scalp massage formulas made with certain very potent essential oils. This worked very well for my hair loss problem and brought my hair back to a better state than it was even before the hair loss. You can find a lot of interesting and helpful information on female hair loss including how aromatherapy helps hair loss at the site listed below.
yes there are many of ways to speed up hair groth or/an stop or provent hair loss.

If your wanting to use vitmans which is the best way to naturally provent hair loss use vitmans b3, b5 and b6 are usfull though i suggest out of them to use b6. Vitamin C can also help but the main vitman to help provet hair loss and boost groth is biotin.

along with taking vitaman you should massage your head with the balls of your fingers (NOT THE NAILS) for 5 minutes per day.

All the vitamins and the massaging bascually help the blood flow to the sculp and make the hair hair follicels grow faster, they also streathen and re-hydrate the hair.

I hope i have helped and sorry for spelling mistakes =)
see your doctor to find out the root cause of your hair loss, it may be a deficiency in something, which along with stress, may have caused your hair to fall out.

i lost a lot of hair a couple of years ago, then only way to help it was to only wash it when it was dirty, let it hang dry and wear it up without brushing it to reduce breakage. don't straighten it, colour it, blow dry it, and get some blood tests done.
i need the anser to this my self but every one has told me about these oils u can get from the pharma there is one called vatika oil i researched it too u can google it maybe it will help :S

btw i've been to the docotr about it she just says its normal but then again shes lazy and if i was dying she would say its okay

I am 16 years old and have had a lot of hair loss. My scalp is visible, and it makes me feel very self consious. I have worried about it for so long, and shouldn't have to.

its not a hormone related problem, because my levels were tested. i looked at the effect of taking estrogen but i still want to know if could i get estrogen pills to stop hair loss? and would more hair grow in or would my existing hair just grow faster? also would all the hair fall out if i stopped taking the pills?

Thanks in advanceHair loss, help please?

    Hi

Treating and stopping hair loss can be a difficult task to do if you are clueless on how you'll effectively do so. If you are serious regarding stopping alopecia and baldness so you'll have more hair on your head, there are some things that you need to know.

Here are some tips that were helpful for me to stop my hair loss:

    1. Biotin Supplement

By taking a good biotin supplement, many people I know, including me, have been able to increase the strength and growth of the hair. Biotin plays a major role in your body's natural hair producing process. Because of this, make sure you eat more foods that contain that necessary vitamin. Foods like eggs, cereals and brown rice all contain biotin. I additionally advocate taking a recommended biotin supplement.

    2. Stress and Alopecia

Stress is notoriously known for inflicting more than dozens of health disorders and diseases together with alopecia and baldness. The effects that stress causes on your hair volume is terribly significant. While causing this disorder, excessive stress conjointly appears to worsen it. For this reason, if you're serious concerning stopping alopecia, be sure you retain your stress level regularly in check.

Be sure you get sufficient rest and sleep each day. Don't work long hours without plenty of rest. Release the tension out before it builds up.

    3. Herbs and Natural Solutions for Baldness

Herbs and natural remedies are some of the simplest alternative treatments for hair loss. Using herbs and natural remedies like green tea and stinging nettle will help you win the fight against baldness and hair loss. Here is a list of herbs and natural remedies that I have found to be very helpful:

    * essential fatty acids like omega 3

    * Malt made hair mask

    * green tea

    * pygeum

    * nettle roots

    * horsetail extracts

    * saw palmetto

    4. Scalp Massage

Massage your scalp several times a day. By massaging your scalp frequently each day, you'll be able to increase the blood circulation in the scalp area. This increased blood flow will aid a lot in transferring the very important growth stimulating nutrients like biotin and amino acids to your hair follicles. This can directly facilitate increase your hair's strength, growth and volume all at the identical time.

    5. Get Proven FDA Approved Treatment

Obtaining a good hair loss treatment is the most important thing but additionally the most difficult. There are too many products and corporations within the market these days and it isn't easy to choose the correct product for your needs.

Anyhow, There are some reliable corporations with good reputation that supply free trials of their products. Before wasting hundreds of dollars on useless product I will highly recommend to take a look at these offers. Some of the big names are: Hairsol, Reatne, Smart organic, Provillus and more.

In the last few days there are some great deals on the Provillus products, you can learn more about them here:

I hope that you will find these tips helpful for you
There is a condition called Alopecia Areata. It is a common skin disease resulting in the loss of hair on the scalp and elsewhere on the body. It usually starts with one or more small, round, smooth patches on the scalp and can progress to total scalp hair loss.

I was diagnosed with it when I was 17, what happens is that for unknown reasons, your immune system fights itself destroying your hair follicles. You should go see a dermatologist, thats what I did. Because the reasons are unknown, there is not a lot you can do. My dermatologist told me to take daily vitamins that have Biotin in them, which help with hair loss. There are treatments that you can get at the dermatologist, I had to get some shots on the area where my hair was falling out the most, they told me that it was pretty much just steroids to help the hair grow in faster. I am 19 years old now and since then it has happened again 2 more, but the hair always grows back.

here's a website, you might find it helpful but I really recommend you see a dermatologist. =]

    I'm only 19 years old

    male

    asian

and i'm already experiencing hair loss?

I am at risk of course

it runs in my family- grandfather has it, and my dad too

    HOW CAN I STOP IT????

Is there anything i can do to stop having this?

i don't want to be bald!! and now that its occuring at an early age even, I just don't know what to do

    can anyone help me??

    thanksHair loss! HELP!?
it sucks, but genes are genes.... i'm in my early 20's and already sprouting a few grey hairs, my mom said i get it from my grandfather, so by my mid-late 30's i should be pure grey..... gah.... check out a hair specialist, they may be able to set you up with plugs or give you special medicated shampoo that can prolong the baldness.... hey, at least you have your health right??Hair loss! HELP!?
You should ask your Dr. about it.

But I'd recommend Rogain and a vitamin B complex.
Hair in a can ask a docter i know thats why your asking here but im just saying
    Stop thinking!!! cheers!
Well, it is very little you can do to stop it since it is hereditary, but you can try Rogaine. Many people swears it works. But in your case (since it is hereditary and occurs early) it may or may not help at all. The only other option I know of is to sugically fix it, which can be expensive. Call Boley if you are interested. Look them up on the internet.
talking to your doctor would be the most logical approach.
    get a toupe
Invest in a lot of Minoxidil, to keep what you have. Prepare for the worst one day, where you either burn a runway up top, get transplants, or go burr and/or Q-ball.
About 50 to 100 milligrams a day of vitamin B6 taken for one or two months helps decrease hair fall. For you a medicine rich in sulfur is also recommended as sulfur plays an important part in the structure of the hair. Check out http://usefulinfo-hairloss.blogspot.com/ for more info.

    FALLING HAIR -

Does your hair fall a lot? Don't worry, you're not alone. Millions of people from all around the world suffer from dry, brittle and weak hair. Some of the possible reasons for falling hair are:

    Tension

    Too much work

    Illness

    Poor diet

    Over-exposure to the sun

    Perming

    Amateur bleaching

Too frequent and inexpert use of tints, rinses or other colourants

Here is what you can do to prevent hair fall

Shampoo regularly. Remember, a CLEAN scalp is a HEALTHY SCALP.

Brahmi amla oil also promotes hair growth.

A high protein diet with plenty of fruits, green vegetables and dairy products is a must.

Drink 10-12 glass of water everyday.

Use a very mild shampoo and condition your hair at least twice a week. When you do, make sure you rinse out the conditioner thoroughly, otherwise residue build-up will cause your hair to look limp and dull.

Know your vitamins! IRON is important for healthy hair and brittle, limp hair indicates an iron deficiency. Spinach has a good iron content, so gulp it down!

ZINC helps prevent hair loss and greying. Eat adequate zinc rich foods. Overweight people tend to have zinc deficiency, which is inversely related to the body mass index. Thus if you are overweight and if your hair falls too much, you may want to increase your intake of zinc containing foods. Recipes containing stone ground, wholegrain flour are rich in zinc.

A shortfall in VITAMIN B may cause dandruff, falling hair, loss of colour and could encourage grey hair. So B group Vitamins are essential for gloss, colour and thickness.

VITAMIN C ensures the health of capillaries supplying blood to hair follicles. Make sure your diet includes plenty of fresh fruits and veggies.

VITAMIN E encourages hair growth. Switch from refined flours to wholemeal and wheatgerm, eggs, vegetable oil.

COPPER stops hair from falling. Studies show that the copper content in the blood serum of people with falling hair is less than normal. Different types of alopecia (falling hair) are seen to have a deficiency of this important trace element. Include small quantities of nuts, especially cashews and peanuts, seeds, whole milk and beans in your diet as these contain minute but important amounts of copper.

Homemade remedies for preventing hair fall:

Apply almond oil on scalp and massage.

Grind fenugreek seeds in water and apply on your scalp. Wash off after 40 minutes. Do this every morning for a month 隆V if it suits you! Remember, different treatments suit different types of hair.

Massage warm castor oil + almond oil into your scalp gently. Wrap a hot towel around your scalp so it gets absorbed into the hair. Do this twice a week for healthy, shiny hair.

Add 2-3 drops of honey to a glass of water and use this as the last rinse after shampooing.

    Quick Hair Care Conditioner

Mix 1 egg, 2 tbs castor oil, 1 tsp vinegar and 1 tsp glycerine. Beat until frothy and massage lightly into your scalp. Wrap your head in a hot towel, steam, then wash off. This conditioner makes hair thicker, shiny, soft and manageable.

    Honey Conditioner

Beat 1-2 eggs (depending on the length of the hair), 1 tsp honey and 2 tsp olive oil. Massage gently into the scalp. Steam, and shampoo after an hour.

    Alcohol Conditioner

Beat 1-2 eggs with 2 tsp brandy. Massage into your scalp. Leave for 10-15 mins. Rinse well. The egg nourishes your hair and brandy stimulates hair growth.

Your hair is a vital beauty asset, requiring constant loving care. And with a little nurturing, lush, glossy hair will be yours

    ESSENTIALS FOR FALLING HAIR -

Does your hair fall often Arm yourself with these tools to combat hair fall.

    Wide-toothed comb

Get yourself a wide-toothed comb. This is probably one of the most important yet underutilized of all hair tools. A wide-toothed comb helps you distribute conditioner evenly all over your hair while shampooing and conditioning. In addition, it also helps get rid of knots smoothly.

The best time to get rid of knots is during conditioning. Apply conditioner and run a wide toothed comb gently through your hair.

While untangling dry hair, do so in sections. Take one section at a time, and first, untangle the ends of your hair. Do so slowly, and don?t pull unless you want your hair to fall out in clumps or break.

Don?t wait for the last minute before detangling your hair. Every night, while sitting in front of the television, run a wide toothed comb gently through your hair, until you have untangled it completely. Do this every night, and you will notice that your hair remains free from tangles.

    Leave-in conditioner

Dry hair tends to tangle easily, and, needless to say, causes it to break. Make sure your hair is never devoid of moisture by always keeping a bottle of leave-in conditioner handy. The next time you feel your hair is dry and rough to the touch, simply rub a dollop of leave-in conditioner between your palms, and apply it to your hair. Comb through with your wide toothed comb. Your hair will be instantly rejuvenated and moisturized. Gradually, the texture will also improve. This is a must if you blow dry your hair regularly, or if it is chemically treated. Such hair constantly craves moisture, so get yourself a bottle of leave-in conditioner.

    Oil

Olive, almond and coconut oils are all excellent for the hair. While you could apply oil as an alternative to leave-in conditioner, oil tends to make your hair sticky, and you cannot style your hair well after applying oil. Your only alternative would then be to tie up your hair. For better results with oil, apply just a few drops immediately after washing your hair, when your hair is still dripping wet. Oil doesn?t penetrate the strands as easily as leave-in conditioner does though. Nothing beats a hot oil massage followed by a steam treatment, as the steam helps the oil penetrate the hair strands, strengthening them and curtailing hair fall.

    Egg

Egg is great for the hair ? there are no two ways about it! True, it causes a tremendous stink in the bathroom, and your hair may let off an ?eggy? smell, but the results are instantaneous and worth it! Egg strengthens your hair almost immediately, and the egg yolk leaves your hair shining. Whip an egg with two tablespoons of olive oil and apply it to your hair. Wash off after half an hour. Make sure you wash off with cold water though, or the egg will start cooking in your hair, and would be harder to take off! Use a scented shampoo to counter the smell of egg in your hair, and follow up with a leave-in conditioner. Do this for a month, and you will be amazed by the change in your hair texture and the reduction in hair fall.

What can I eat to prevent premature greying?

Eating seafood is possibly one of the best things you can eat to promote all-over hair health. It is rich in zinc, iodine and protein, which are excellent for the hair. So if you enjoy seafood, make it a point to have fish several times a week. Remember that eating canned fish will not give you the same benefits as eating freshly cooked fish. If you don?t eat fish, consider fish-oil supplements.

Iron is good for hair and is found in dark green vegetables, meat and some pulses. If you are unsure about whether you are getting enough iron, include an iron supplement every once in a while in your diet. Remember that too many iron supplements can be bad for you. Women lose iron while menstruating, so perhaps during or after your cycle you can have iron-fortified supplements for a few days.

Eating foods rich in Vitamins B and C will ensure that your hair stays strong, does not break easily, and does not grey early. Pork, vegetables, whole grains, wheat germ, soymilk are all rich sources of Vitamin B, while citrus fruits are excellent sources of Vitamin C. Eating adequate Vitamin C helps increase absorption of iron. Try and have a glass of orange juice daily.

Your hair will never be healthy if you do not drink enough water. Drink at least eight to ten glasses a day.

What oil can I apply to my hair?

Rosemary oil is believed to gradually darken grey hair over a period of time. Soak rosemary leaves along with a few basil (tulsi) leaves, in jojoba oil, for a period of four weeks. Massage your scalp and hair with this oil (after warming it up).

Most oils are not easily absorbed by the hair, which is why you need to leave oil on for at least forty-five minutes. It helps greatly if you steam your hair after applying oil.

Boil dried amla pieces in coconut oil until the pieces turn black and the oil darkens. Apply this oil to the hair. It strengthens hair and prevents greying.

Boil tealeaves in water and rinse your hair with this liquid 20-30 times. Then, leave on for 15-20 minutes before the final rinse.

What else can I do to promote hair health and delay greying?

Washing your hair with very hot water or using hair-dryers excessively weaken roots, and may lead to premature greying. When using a hair-dryer, take care not to point it to your scalp. Similarly, try and wash your hair with cool or lukewarm water.

    Will Yoga help?

Inverted yoga poses bring a rush of blood to the scalp. This stimulates circulation and enhances hair health. Do the following poses regularly:

Adho Mukha Svanasana (Downward Facing Dog)

    Sarvangasana

    Chakrasana

Other easy ways to stimulate circulation are:

When you wash your hair, keep switching from hot water to cold water.

Comb your hair regularly. A hundred strokes every night should do the trick. If your hair is curly, use a wide toothed combHair loss!! help?!?!?!?!?!?
    you should see a doctor.

    Hair Loss...Help!!?

Ever since I gave birth to my daughter 7 months ago I have lost so much hair. Every time I wash and condition my hair, it just comes out like crazy. I roll it into a ball as a size of a golf ball. I wash my hair every other day and hate to too because I freak out. At first my doctor said it could be my hormones, and then when my blood work came back everything was normal, when she checked my thyroid on my 6 week check up, that was fine. What else could it be? Currently I went to GNC and bought some Biotin shampoo and conditioner and some vitamins and it's still not working. My doctor still has me on prenatal as well. The only thing that has changed is I have been diagnosed with anxiety and panic disorder....which my hair loss causes even more stress. I don't know what to do, if you have any suggestions, please help me out. I need some encouragement or some other answers.Hair Loss...Help!!?

Maybe your hair is growing as fast as you are losing it so there is probably no reason to worry. If your hair does appear to be thinner after a period of time then you may need to seek some help. Generally hair loss is quite a normal function as is skin loss (but this is something you don't usually see). Skin renews itself and so does hair.
