Hair loss Help in England?

Hey guys,


I am a 20 yr old male in London going through male pattern hair loss, I have been losing hair since i was about 17-18. Its got to the point where its really starting to effect my self esteem and self identity as I've always had ';cool'; hair and it kills to know that im losing so much at a young age. I understand that some of you will just suggest shaving it off but please understand that my face would not suit a slap head at all, believe me. I shaved it once and i looked like a cancer patient (no offence, its just what i looked like).





So i guess my question is what options do i have?





Propecia? (anyone had experience?)


Hair Transplants? (i doubt is an option due to my age+cost)


Wait on Intercytex? (anyone with info? NOT the website link)


Shave it of regardless of appearence?





Please for the love of God NO holistic/home remedies just some real advice.

There's only two drugs clinically tested and FDA approved : Minoxidil (Rogaine and other brands) and Propecia (Proscar, Finasteride, etc.), there are some interesting drugs too like Dutasteride, Flutagel or Follica but there aren't enough studies yet.





Yes at your age hair transplant is not advisable because donor hair is finite, thats were intercytex comes in, they claim that in 5-10 years they can clone your good hair (the ones in the back of the head) making an infinite amount of donor hair ready to be transplanted, but right now it's all speculation.





I use proscar (cut into 1/4) 1/day and minoxidil 2/day i had some regrowth on the top of the head and some new small vellus like hair growing in the temple area. And mind that there's 6-12 months until you see results
