You could massage your scalp more often, it promotes blood circulation which makes hair regrow. Hair loss occurs from many factors, so I suggest that you do see a hairloss specialist, as I'm pretty sure you dont want to risk being bold, unless your into that look?

I have heard of some home remedies, try using the search button, I remember seeing some questions like this aswell, about home remedies, so ya ;D

castor oil
YOU NEED TO CHANGE SHAMPOOS AND CONDITIONER THIS ONE ISN'T WORKING FOR YOU ?? ARE YOU UNDER LOTS OF STRESS THAT CAN CAUSE IT AND THE WAY YOU EAT CHANGE YOUR DIET AND DON'T STRESS
Go to the doctor. Alopecia (hair loss) can be the result of several factors. They are able to test for a few things including a fungal infection by doing a simple scalp scraping. They will also look at your diet and maybe take blood to examine that as well. Begin with going to the doctor and see where it takes you. The stress of not dealing with the issue will amplify the condition and cause you unnecessary worry. Best of luck.
You might have cancer. Go check with a doctor and also wear a hat a lot.
I don't know how recent your problem is, but like our doggy friends, we shed. Usually twice a year, once at the beginning of the summer months and again in winter. Occasionally we go through a prolonged shed (up to 6 months!) which can cause problems and result in pulling clumps of hair out without any evident bald spots. Usually if it's been going on for more than about 2 months or so you should go to see a dermatologist so that steps can be taken to help.

As previously stated stress can play into hair. My dermatologist told me that stress up to THREE months prior can cause hair loss. On top of that, if you have iron deficiencies or anemia (there's a difference) your hair will also fall out much more easier.

Chemically treating your hair (either salon quality or home done) can also cause your hair to fall out, normally it takes a few back to back processes, but some people are sensitive enough to experience hairloss after one treatment (whether it be colouring, perming, relaxing etc).

One of the simple and most overlooked causes for hairloss is, suprisingly, dandruff. Many people who think they have mild cases of dandruff actually have a larger problem with it. Switching to a dandruff shampoo may help to solve the problem. Using a dandruff shampoo (I suggest Neutrogena T-Gel) twice to three times a week could help as well.

In the end, there's no sure way to know how to fix the hair loss without knowing what's causing it. Good Luck!
my friend told me something about wax treatment in salon. she said it works for her.hope that helps =D
Keristase from loreal, It's this serum that you massage on your scalp every day for 2 months, after the first few days your hair will stop falling. It worked for me.not only will your hair stop falling, it will get thicker too.

Wow and your only 17?? Maybe Dove isn't suited for your type of hair. Try other brands such as Sunsilk and see if that works for your hair? If your 17 I'm guessing you are in year 12 and so you would be doing your entrance examinations to get into university. It could simply be from stress. I'm not sure because I'm not a doctor, but keep calm I'm sure you'll be fine.
