--Guinea Pig Hair loss help!!?

So i was brushing my piggy and i noticed that towards his back(a little higher than his bottom) you could just pull his hair right out! I am really nervous as to what this might be--is he sick or should i brush him more often? shanx=]--Guinea Pig Hair loss help!!?
Most guinea pigs shed and as they get older, they do lose hair so it could be any one of those and guinea pigs do not often lose hair when they are sick, so I suspect that yours is fine.--Guinea Pig Hair loss help!!?
Its okay as long as there is no bald spots. He might have dry flaky skin because its winter time. My old guinea pig got that around this time of year. If it continues, buy some ointment at the pet store. He also might not be getting enough vitamin C. Feed him things like watermelon.
my guinea pig sheds a bit, its totally normal if its only a little amount. if theres a LOT (ex: big tufts falling out) you should be a little more concerned. Give him more vitamin C and pay lots of attention to him, it it continues, call a vet asap. good luck, happy holidays!
I would call the vet.

Hair loss in guinea pigs could mean anything from lack of Vitamin C to old age. We don't have enough information (or the veterinary degree) to make a proper diagnosis.
it could be stress or lack of vitamin c
all ginny pigs lost hair
