My kitten has hair loss!!! HELP!!!?

On her back by her tail, she is starting to lose hair, and I don't know why! And everytime I touch it to get a better look, she meows and scratches my arm up! I don't know what to do.. ='[My kitten has hair loss!!! HELP!!!?
That is really strange. She might have ring worm! If you've got any little round itchie spots on you all of a sudden that are puffie, that's what the problem is!My kitten has hair loss!!! HELP!!!?
Be sure she doesn't have fleas first.


Usually base of tail is a common area for fleas to attack.


She is in some discomfort or pain for her reaction/reflex to attack you.


Pls. take to vet to determiine cause,.. they are experienced at detecting the problem whether it be parasites or skin irritation from contaminants.
It could be the food you are feeding her... my cat has allergies to a few different types of food, and he scratches around his neck to where it is bare.... Try switching her food.. Does she have fleas? Make sure she doesn't... Ringworm is also a possibility, get her wormed!... Not helping? Now it is time for a visit to the vet!
All the above is very good advise, and you should listen to it. If the problems persist. The kitty may have a rare skin disorder and the vet will give kitty a shot. If your kittys hair is falling out and there is blood and puss on her skin, take her asap.My cat lived with her skin condition for 15 years and she would get regular shots as needed. After just her first shot, she did so good. Good luck with kitty. My cat has been gone for a few years and I forgot the name of the condition, but if you e-mail me I will look it up for you.
There are several things that can be causing this, so get her to the vet. The DVM will know what to look for.
