Hamster hair loss help help?

my poor lil hamster has a patch of hair on his back i realy dont think its mites (i see no small insects on his back) but wat can help him and wats wrong i want to have fun with my lil buddy by the way hes a boy teddy bair. :) helpHamster hair loss help help?
I had the same thing that happened to my gerbils, apparently it can be caused by old age! how old is your gerbil!!!

is that the only place he has any fur?





if I understand you right, he has a bald spot on his back, right?





it's probably external parasites.





check with the Merck Veterinary Manual as to what is safe to use on rodents.
You can't really see mites so take him to a vet so if it is mites the vet will give you medicine
